SUB ACUTE CARE FACILITIES TURNING TO INSOURCING
PRINCETON, NJ (September 30, 2008) — Expeditive, a leading provider of interim staffing and recruitment of revenue cycle personnel, is expanding its services beyond hospitals and health systems to include the nation's sub-acute care facilities.
In making the announcement this week, James Yarsinsky, CPAM, president of the firm, said his firm is seeing more and more facilities consider insourcing their revenue cycle operations as they are trying to collect "every penny" from Medicare and other third-party payers. Sub-acute facilities that Expeditive is addressing are large hospital-based physician groups, long-term care facilities and ambulatory care centers. Some estimates place the number of these facilities at over 12,000.
"We are entering a new target market," says Mr. Yarsinsky. "As a result, we are expanding our reach to includes these facilities with our interim revenue cycle specialists - from one to a dozen - who work onsite to reduce A/R and accelerate cash generation. It's a natural extension of our current business model and represents an enormous opportunity for us."
